Women's golf second in one-day event at Duran Golf Club

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team shot a 309 in a one-day match with Hamilton College and Ithaca Thursday at Duran Golf Club.

The Titans finished ahead of Ithaca but behind Hamilton in the match as Hamilton College shot a 303.

Jenna Barnett and Brittany Odic each shot a 76 while Gracie Doke had a 77 and Jaida Furlow had an 80. Emma Parker finished with an 81 in the match played at Duran Golf Club.

"Signs of better play from everyone is encouraging," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said.

The women's golf team will compete in the Dalton State Road Runner Invitational on April 8 and 9.
