Women's golf team in third at Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team is in third place at the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Georgia.

The Titans shot rounds of 317 and 325 on Monday and head into the final round behind leader Keiser University and host Dalton State.

Eastern Florida State College freshman Sarah Knitter is tied for eighth overall at 11-over 155 with rounds of 78 and 77 Monday. Teammate Jasmine Yang is tied for 13th at 14-over while Savannah Hawthorne is in 21st overall at 18-over with back-to-back rounds of 81.

Kira Shellman is tied for 28th overall with a 167.

Keiser University's Hoi Ki Lau and Southeastern University's Hallie Riley are tied for first place overall at 5-over 149 after two rounds.

The final round of the tournament is set for Tuesday morning.
