The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team is in seventh place overall in the Lady Falcon Invitational at LPGA International Golf Club in Daytona Beach.

Sophomore Kacey Walker sits in fourth place heading into the final round of the event, scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Walker opened the tournament with a 70 in the first round and then shot an 80 in windy conditions in the afternoon.

Teammate Delia Timpy is tied for 39th overall after shooting a 168 after two rounds while freshman Sloan Lanier is in 42nd place after a solid round of 81 in the afternoon. Freshman Elise Boccabella shot an 82 in the first round but struggled in the afternoon a bit and is tied for 43rd. Sophomore Trinity Falcone is one stroke behind Boccabella heading into the final round.

"It was quite windy in the afternoon round and LPGA International has played tough," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said.
