Walker leads women's golf team at Lady Falcon Invitational

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team played better in the second round of the Lady Falcon Invitational at LPGA International in Daytona Beach on Saturday.

Freshman Kacey Walker shot a 76 in the second round and moved up to a tie for 24th overall while teammate Trinity Falzone shot an 88 and Delia Timpy shot a 93.

"Overall we played better today," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "It was a good solid round by Kacey and Trinity hung in there well."

The team will play the final round of the tournament Sunday morning.
