Women's golf team wins five of six matches against Augustana College

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team won five of the six matches against Augustana College at Indian River Preserve Golf Club in Mims Thursday afternoon.

Freshmen Dayna Owens, Gabriella Collura and Gianna Piscitelli all picked up wins as well as sophomores Katelyn McCallum and Danica Swaggerty for the Titans.

Owens had a strong finish to lock up a win 3 and 2. McCallum and Collura each finished four up while Swaggerty (6 and 5) and Piscitelli (8 and 6) picked up wins.

"It was good competition for both teams," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said.

The Titans will compete in the Seminole State Spring Invitational March 5-7.
