Women's basketball player Kristiana Kulackovska named to All-FCSAA Team

Eastern Florida State College women's basketball player Kristiana Kulackovska was named to the NJCAA Division I All-FCSAA Team on Wednesday.

The sophomore from Saldus, Latvia is one of 12 players recognized by the FCSAA DI Women's Basketball Committee.

"I am both honored and humbled by this recognition," Kulackovska said. "It is as much a team honor as an individual one because without my teammates this wouldn't be possible."

Kulackovska averaged 8.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this season in 29 games for the Titans.

"We are so proud of KK for earning all-state honors. Her hard work and dedication has paid off and her light shines so bright on and off the court," Eastern Florida State College women's basketball coach MJ Baker said.

Teammate Amelia Hassett was named the All-FCSAA Player of the Year, it is the third straight year that the Titans have had multiple players make the all-state team.

The Titans are the No. 3 seed in the FCSAA Women's Basketball Championship and will play No. 6 Hillsborough Community College in the quarterfinals Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. EDT at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.
