Five women's basketball players named to all-conference teams

Five members of the Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team were named to the all-Citrus Conference Team on Friday.

Sophomore Amelia Hassett was named the Citrus Conference Player of the Year after finishing the regular season averaging 19.9 points, 12.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. The Albury New South Wales, Australia native averaged 20.8 points in conference games and the 19.9 points is third in Region 8 and eighth in the nation and her 12.7 rebounds per game leads Region 8 and is also eighth in the nation.

Kristiana Kulackovska is on the first team after averaging 8.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game and 2.3 assists per game this season. The Saldus, Latvia native has started in 17 of the 29 games for the Titans and has made 49 percent of her shots in conference games this season.

Jaidyn Koerdt was named to the first team after averaging 10.1 points per game in 28 games for the Titans. The Providence, Arkansas native also averaged 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.

Lynn Rieth was named to the second team after scoring 8.1 points per game in conference games this season and is making 40.7 percent of her 3-pointers. The Melbourne, Florida native has made 48 3-pointers this season and is also averaging 2.7 rebounds per game.

E'Zaria Adams made the second team after averaging 7.5 points and 2.9 rebounds off the bench for the Titans. The freshman from West Palm Beach made 49 percent of her shots in conference play this season.

Head coach MJ Baker was named the Citrus Conference Coach of the Year for the third straight season. The Titans won their conference title for the third straight season and it is the third straight unbeaten conference season for Baker. The women's basketball team heads into the 2024 FCSAA/NJCAA Region VIII Women's Basketball Championship with a 25-game unbeaten streak.

Eastern Florida State College is the No. 3 seed for the Women's Basketball Championship and will open the tournament against Hillsborough Community College Thursday at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.
