Women's basketball team hosts St. Petersburg on WEFS-TV

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will host St. Petersburg College Saturday afternoon in a game that will be shown live on WEFS-TV.

The No. 9 ranked Titans come into the matchup on an 18-game win streak and have won the past 27 games at Titan Field House. St. Petersburg College comes into the game 2-11 in the conference.

The game will be broadcast live locally on WEFS-TV, which is channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish and 68 on AT&T Uverse. You can also watch the game live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.

Eastern Florida State College is 13-0 in the conference and is led by sophomore Amelia Hassett who is averaging 19.4 points and 13.4 rebounds which leads Region 8 and is tied for third in the nation. The forward is also leading the state in 3-point field goal percentage, hitting 42.9 percent of her 3-pointers. She is coming off a 27-point, 16 rebound game against Florida Southwestern.

Teammate Jaidyn Koerdt is averaging 10 points per game while Kristiana Kulackovska is averaging 9.5 points.

Carliss Johnson is leading St. Petersburg College, averaging 12.1 points per game.

Saturday's game will begin at 2 p.m. at Titan Field House and admission is free.
