Women's basketball team heads to St. Petersburg for conference game

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team looks for the series sweep against St. Petersburg College Wednesday night.

The second-ranked Titans will travel to St. Petersburg for a 5:30 p.m. Central Conference game. Eastern Florida State College, who is 26-1 overall and has won the Central Conference regular season title.

Eastern Florida State College won the first two meetings against St. Petersburg College and have won the past five meetings.

Leilani Guion is averaging 17.5 points per game in the first two games against St. Petersburg and is scoring 12.3 points per game in conference games this season. Teammate L'or Eyeba Mputu has scored at least 10 points per game in the past 13 games and is averaging 17 points per game in conference games.

Isimenme Ozzy-Momodu is averaging 13.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in conference games this season and has 11 double-doubles this season including the past two in a row.

The women's basketball team has now won 10 in a row and 23 conference games in a row. It is the second straight conference title for the Titans.

The Titans will host the Florida State College at Jacksonville Saturday afternoon in the final regular season game at Titan Field House at 2 p.m.
