Women's basketball team rolled past Daytona State College

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team rolled to another Central Conference win on Wednesday night.

The second-ranked Titans improved to 22-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference with the 83-39 victory at Daytona State College.

Eastern Florida State College held Daytona State College to under 10 points in three of the four quarters as they defeated the Falcons for the second time this season.

Isimenme Ozzy Momodu finished with her eighth double-double of the season, scoring 17 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in the win. Teammate Shadaria Smith also scored 17 points while L'or Eyeba Mputu scored 14 points and Leilani Guion had 12 points.

The Titans have now won six straight and 19 consecutive conference games.

Eastern Florida State College will be back at Titan Field House Saturday afternoon against St. Petersburg College at 4 p.m. in a Central Conference matchup that will be shown on WEFS-TV, which is channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish and 68 on AT&T Uverse. The game will also be shown live online at EFSC Titans YouTube page.
