Women's basketball team ranked 17th in latest NJCAA poll
The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team is ranked 17th in the latest NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Poll that was released on Monday.
It is the seventh straight week that the Titans have been ranked in the top 25 and 17th is tied for the highest ranking in program history.
Eastern Florida State College heads into the week 21-3 overall and 8-0 in the Central Conference. The Titans have a nine-game winning streak heading into Thursday night's road game against the Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Freshman Rapuluchi Ngorka is ranked fourth in the nation in rebounds per game, averaging 13 rebounds per game this season.
The Titans remained No. 4 in the NJCAA Region 8 Coaches Poll for the second straight week.
Eastern Florida State College will be back at Titan Field House on Feb. 16 against Santa Fe College. Tip-off will be at 5:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on WEFS-TV.
