Women's basketball team hits road on Friday

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team hits the road on Friday, traveling to Hillsborough Community College for a non-conference game.

The Titans, who are 4-0 and No. 21 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll, come into the contest averaging 79.5 points per game and are led by Rapuluchi Ngorka who is averaging 18.5 points and 14.8 rebounds per game. The freshman from Madrid, Spain has had double-doubles in three of the four games this season.

Teammate L'or Eyeba Mputu comes into Friday's game averaging 13.8 points and 6.3 rebounds and is coming off a season-high 20-point effort against Palm Beach State.

Hillsborough Community College is 2-2 this season and are averaging 71.3 points per game, led by Jazmine Spencer who leads Region 8 in points per game average with 26.3.

Friday's game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. at Hillsborough Community College. Friday is the start of an eight-game road trip returning to Titan Field House on Dec. 18.
