Women's basketball team hosts Miami Dade on Wednesday night

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will be back at Titan Field House Wednesday night for a non-conference game against Miami Dade College.

The Titans, who are No. 23 in the NJCAA Division I poll, improved to 2-0 with wins at the JUCO Women's Shootout against Gulf Coast State College and Indian River State College.

Eastern Florida State College is led by L'or Eyeba Mputu who leads Region 8 in field goal percentage, shooting 70 percent while teammate Rapuluchi Ngorka is grabbing 14.5 rebounds per game which also leads Region 8.

Miami Dade comes into the game 1-3 after going 0-2 in the Women's Basketball Shootout and is led by Larissa Abreu who comes back to Titan Field House averaging 14.3 points per game.

Wednesday night's game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus and admission is free. You can also watch the game live online on the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
