Women's basketball team hosts Broward Saturday afternoon

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team is back at Titan Field House Saturday afternoon for a non-conference matchup with Broward College.

The Titans come into the game 17-5 overall and have won five of their past six games. Sophomore Jacquelyn Levay has scored at least 11 points in each of the past seven games and has hit at least two 3-pointers in the past 10 games. Levay leads Region 8 in 3-point shooting percentage, shooting 45.2 percent.

Teammate Milan Schimmel has scored at least 17 points per game in the past five games and has scored at least 10 points in 18 of the 22 games this season.

Broward College is 3-18 on the season but is coming off a big win against ASA Miami on Wednesday night. The Seahawks are led by freshman guard Simay Naz Oget who is averaging 11.9 points per game this season.

Saturday's game will tip off at 2 p.m. at Titan Field House and will be shown live on the EFSC YouTube page. It is also Green Dot Day at Titan Field House with events scheduled for noon.
