Women's basketball team hits road for Lady Jets Holiday Classic

The Eastern Florida State College hit the road for the Lady Jets Holiday Classic in Americus, Georgia beginning Sunday night.

The Titans, who are ranked No. 25 in the NJCAA Division I poll at 11-2, will play games the next three games in the tournament beginning with a top 25 matchup against No. 16 South Georgia Technical College at 8 p.m. Sunday.

South Georgia Technical College comes into the tournament 14-1 and have a 12-game winning streak heading into the matchup with the Titans.

Then on Monday afternoon the Titans will play Georgia Highlands at 2 p.m. who are 9-5 overall and have won five in a row. The women's basketball team will wrap up the tournament at noon on Tuesday playing No. 1-ranked Gulf Coast State College who come into the tournament 10-0.

The women's basketball team will return to Titan Field House on Jan. 4 against ASA Miami at 2 p.m.
