Four women's basketball payers named to all-Suncoast Conference teams

Eastern Florida State College freshman Skye Williams was named to the all-Region VIII All-State team.

The guard from Indianapolis averaged 14.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game for the Titans. It is the fifth straight season that a Titan has made the women's basketball all-state team.

Williams and redshirt freshman Sierra Votaw made the first team all-Suncoast Conference first team while Angeni Worley and Jacquelyn Levay were both named to the second team.

"Extremely proud of these young ladies who have been honored by our conference for all of their grit and grind but none of this could be possible without the entire team," Eastern Florida State College women's basketball coach MJ Baker said.

The women's basketball team will play in the FCSAA State Tournament in Ocala beginning Wednesday. The Titans will play Mid-Florida Conference champion Santa Fe at 8 p.m. at the College of Central Florida.
