Women's basketball team falls to Tallahassee in Fort Myers

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team lost to Tallahassee in the Florida College's Women's Basketball Shootout in Fort Myers on Saturday.

The Titans were down three at halftime but the Eagles came out strong in the third quarter, outscoring the Titans 35-17 to pick up the 103-75 win. Eastern Flrida State College fell to 6-4 on the season.

Skye Williams led the Titans with 16 points while Sierra Votaw finished with 10 points and six rebounds as all 11 players scored in the contest.

Juliunn Redmond led Tallahassee with a game-high 25 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for the Eagles who improved to 9-0.

Eastern Florida State College will return to Titan Field House Tuesday night as they host the Florida State College at Jacksonville at 6 p.m. Admission is free to games at Titan Field House, located on the Melbourne campus.
