Women's basketball team tops Indian River State College

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team used a strong second half to defeat Indian River State College in the Indian River Tip-Off Classic on Saturday afternoon.

The Titans found themselves trailing by six points at the half but outscored Indian River by 37 in the second half to win 84-53 and improve to 2-0.

Freshman Skye Williams led the attack with 18 points while Tynasia Bunting had 17 and Sierra Votaw added 10 as 10 players scored for the Titans.

Eastern Florida State College will travel to Florida State College at Jacksonville on Tuesday night.
