Women's basketball team drops game to St. Petersburg

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team lost a Suncoast Conference road game with St. Petersburg Saturday afternoon.

The Titans got off to a slow start and could not catch up, losing 75-66.

Alex Obouh Fegue led the Titans with 20 points and seven rebounds while Claire Bady finished with 11 points and a team-high 11 rebounds. Freshman point guard Brianna Lewis also had 11 points and 12 assists in the contest and Victoria Morales finished with 10 points.

The Titans, who are now 18-5 overall and 3-2 in the conference, will be home for three straight games beginning Wednesday night when first-place Florida Southwestern comes to Titan Field House. Wednesday's game tips off at 5 p.m.and will be shown live on WEFS-TV and online at efsctitans.com/webcast.
