Women's basketball team defeats ASA Miami

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team heads into the Christmas break 9-2 on the season. 

The Titans jumped out to an 11-point lead in the first quarter and went on to defeat ASA Miami Friday night 75-55 at Titan Field House.

Alexandrine Obouh Fegue led the attack with 17 points as she scored eight of the first nine points of the game. The sophomore from Paris, France has scored at least 11 points in every game this season.

Teammate Angeni Worley had 14 points while sophomore Mariah Batz had all 10 of her points in the second quarter.

Theodora Odia grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds and Brianna Lewis and Dysheka Price each finished with eight points.

The Titans will head to Georgia Dec. 29-31 to compete in the Lady Jets Holiday Classic before returning home Jan. 3 to host Indian River State College at 5:30 p.m. in a matchup that will be shown live on WEFS-TV and online at efsctitans.com/webcast
