Women's basketball team wins sixth in a row

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team won its sixth straight game, defeating Miami Dade 84-67 in the JUCO Shootout in Jacksonville.

The Titans rallied back from eight points down in the first quarter to take a 38-19 lead at the half, outscoring Miami Dade 23-7 in the second quarter. 

Alexandrine Obouh Fegue had 15 points and 16 rebounds to record her sixth straight double double. Teammate Brianna Lewis also had a double double with 12 points and 10 assists. Mariah Batz finished with 13 points while Ieva Spigule had 10.

All 10 players that played scored at least three points in the game.

The Titans will play Northwest Florida State at 5 p.m. Saturday in the final day of the JUCO Shootout.
