Women's basketball team wins fifth straight

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team used a balanced attack to win its fifth straight game Tuesday night.

The Titans came back from an early deficit to defeat Santa Fe 76-61 and improve to 5-1 on the season.

And for the fifth straight game Alexandrine Obouh Fegue posted a double-double, scoring 25 points and grabbing 16 rebounds in the game. Teammate Claire Bady finished with a season-high 12 points and 12 rebounds while Brianna Lewis had 13 points and 10 assists in the game. Victoria Morales finished with a game-high 18 rebounds as the Titans outrebounded Santa Fe 61-25 in the game.

Mariah Batz had 11 points as eight players scored in the contest. The Titans will travel to Jacksonville on Dec. 1 and 2 to play in the JUCO Shootout. Eastern Florida State College will play Miami Dade who handed the team its only loss this season on Friday, Dec. 1 and Northwest Florida State College on Saturday, Dec. 2.
