The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team came back from a slow start to dominate Indian River State College in the final game of the Tip-Off Classic Saturday.
The Titans, who improved to 2-1 on the season, outscored Indian River State College 41-20 in the second and third quarters to pick up the 79-56 victory. It was the second straight win for the women's team.
Ieva Spigule led the attack with a double-double, scoring 23 points including five 3-pointers and grabbed 11 rebounds while teammate Alexandrine Obouh Fegue finished with a double-double of her own, scoring 17 points and grabbing a team-high 14 rebounds. Obouh Fegue also had five steals in the game.
The Titans will travel to Bradenton Nov. 13 to play IMG Academy before competing in the East Georgia Classic on Nov. 17-18.
