Women's basketball team falls to Miami Dade

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team fell to Miami Dade 86-64 in a Southern Conference road game Tuesday night.

The Titans fell to 1-1 in the conference after a slow start cost them against a Sharks team that is now also 1-1 in the conference.

Trudy Walker led the Titans with 18 points while Tayler Smith had 14 and Evey Sagner added 11 in the contest.

Jamaria Williams and Jetaun Rouse each had 21 for the Sharks.

Eastern Florida will be back at Titan Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon as part of a doubleheader. The women will tip off at 2 p.m. against Broward College with the men's basketball team playing Miami Dade at 4 p.m.
