Women's basketball team loses to College of Central Florida

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team lost a tight game with the College of Central Florida on Wednesday night.

The Titans led by two points at the half but could not hold off the College of Central Florida, falling 87-84. Trudy Walker finished with her third double-double of the season, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in the contest.

Teammate Mariah Batz had her best game as a Titan, scoring 15 points and had four assists. Taylor Smith finished with 13 points and six rebounds and Caitlyn Smith had 10 points and four assists.

Eastern Florida State College (1-3) will be back at Titan Field House on Tuesday night, hosting Santa Fe College at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.
