Softball team will host Polk State College Tuesday for conference doubleheader

The Eastern Florida State College softball team will host Polk State College in a Citrus Conference doubleheader on Tuesday.

The Titans, who are 13-15 in the conference, will begin a busy week of conference games with a pair against Polk State College beginning at 3 p.m. at Titan Softball Complex.

Polk State College is hitting .240 as a team this season and is led by Nayeli Hernandez who is hitting .441 in 40 games this season with eight doubles which is second on the team.

Eastern Florida State College is hitting .361 as a team which is third in Region 8. Sophomore Jenna Borkey and freshman Livie Davis are both hitting .411 this season while McKenzie Jewell is hitting .384 for the Titans. Borkey is ranked fourth in Region 8 with 37 stolen bases this season.
