Softball team hits road for key conference doubleheader Tuesday

The Eastern Florida State College softball team will travel to Seminole State College for a key conference doubleheader on Tuesday.

The Titans come into the matchup 10-10 while Seminole State College is 11-9 in the conference standings. Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 2 p.m. at Seminole State College.

Eastern Florida State College are coming off a split against No. 3 Florida Southwestern, winning the second game on a walk-off three-run home run by Kyla Leppin. Leppin has a nine-game hitting streak and is hitting .454 with eight doubles and a home run during the streak.

Livie Davis is hitting .436 in 34 games this season while teammate Jenna Borkey is hitting .433 in 36 games and has stolen 30 bases this season.

Seminole State College is coming off a sweep against St. Petersburg College and is led by Cassidy Ross who is hitting .461 this season.

The Titans will return to Titan Softball complex on Thursday for a conference doubleheader against the State College of Florida, Manatee beginning at 2 p.m.
