Softball team hosts Hillsborough CC in conference doubleheader Thursday

The Eastern Florida State College softball team will host Hillsborough Community College for a Citrus Conference doubleheader on Thursday.

The No. 19 ranked Titans have won three in a row and are 5-7 in the conference. They will play the Hawks, who are 2-9, at Titan Softball Complex beginning at 3 p.m.

Hillsborough Community College is coming off a split against St. Petersburg College and are hitting .287 this season led by Brooke Markiewicz who is hitting .355 with six doubles this season.

The Titans are led by a trio of Titans who are hitting over .400 this season. Livie Davis is hitting .484 with six doubles and three triples while Jenna Borkey is hitting .474 with two home runs and 29 stolen bases and Brooke Theisen is hitting .420 with 12 doubles.
