Softball team remains ranked in NJCAA Division I poll
For the third straight week, the Eastern Florida State College softball team is ranked in the NJCAA Division I National Poll.
The Titans are ranked 19th in the national poll following a split against No. 13 Seminole State College on Saturday. The Titans are 18-8 on the season.
McLennan Community College remains No. 1 in the national poll with Northwest Florida State College is second and Florida Southwestern State College is No. 3.
Indian River State College is No. 4 in the national poll with Temple College moving into the top five.
Region 8 had eight teams in the top 20 as College of Central Florida is sixth, Gulf Coast State College is No. 9, with Seminole State College 13th and Chipola College is ranked 18th.
Eastern Florida State College will have a busy week as they will travel to Polk State College on Tuesday for a doubleheader and then face Hillsborough Community College at home at 2 p.m. on Thursday, wrapping up the week at St. Petersburg College on Saturday.
