The Eastern Florida State College softball team earned a split with Santa Fe College Thursday afternoon at Titan Softball Complex.

The No. 16 ranked Titans picked up their first conference win in the first game of the Citrus Conference doubleheader, winning 7-5. In Game 2 Santa Fe used the long ball to win 6-2 and are now 16-4 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

In the first game, Faith Campos opened with a triple and scored on Brooke Theisen's double. Theisen would then score on Sam Clark's double and the Titans were up 3-0 after the first inning.

Elizabeth Bratcher would steal home in the third inning to make it 4-0 and then Livie Davis would score to make it 5-0.

Santa Fe would get on the board in the top of the sixth inning as Ariana Wright hit her first of three home runs on the day. Santa Fe added a second run in the fourth inning. Up 7-2 after six innings, Santa Fe would score one in the sixth and two in the seventh as Wright hit her second home run, a two-run shot.
