Softball games vs. Indian River State College moved to Monday

The Eastern Florida State College softball team's doubleheader against No. 15 Indian River State College has been rescheduled for Monday afternoon.

The Titans will recognize the five sophomores following the doubleheader as they will be playing for the final time at home.

Makenzie ForeTrinity HowardCourtney StoutMandy Hedetniemi-Taylor and Rachel Lamoureaux have all been staples on the Titans lineup cards the past two seasons and on Wednesday will be honored for their careers.

But first Eastern Florida State College will battle Indian River State College in a conference matchup as the Titans look to get their first win against the Pioneers this season.

The Titans have won three of the past five games and the offense has been a big reason, averaging five runs on 10 hits in the past five games. Indian River State College has a two-game win streak and has three shutouts in last four wins.

Game 1 will be at 3 p.m. with the second game scheduled for 5 p.m.
