The Eastern Florida State College softball team dropped a pair of Southern Conference games on Wednesday at Indian River State College.
The Titans fell to 0-3 in the conference as Indian River State College posted the 6-1 and 1-0 victories.
In Game 1, errors plagued the Titans as Indian River State College would take advantage of five errors to take a commanding lead. Eastern Florida State College scored their lone run in the top of the seventh inning as Rachel Lamoureaux singled and scored on Gracie Snell's single.
It was the only two hits the Titans got in the first game.
Game 2 saw Mandy Hedetniemi-Taylor pick up her 100th strikeout of the season as she allowed one unearned run on three hits and struck out three in the contest.
Once again the offense had just two hits as Lamoureaux and Sam Formosa each has singles and an error led to the Pioneers lone run.
Eastern Florida State College will host the State College of Florida Manatee and Indian River State College in a tri-match Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
