Softball team will host South Florida State College Friday afternoon

The Eastern Florida State College softball team will host South Florida State College Friday afternoon at Titan Softball Complex on the Melbourne campus.

The doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. as the Titans try to get back on the field after weather has postponed the past two series. 

South Florida State College is coming off a sweep against Miami Dade College and has been playing better the past month. 

The Titans are 4-6 in the conference and are 16-17 overall, just two wins away from matching last season's win total.

Friday's doubleheader is the beginning of a six-game stretch over the next four days as the Titans will host Miami Dade Saturday for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. before travelling to Indian River State College on Monday for a pair of games beginning at 5 p.m. after the doubleheader on Wednesday was postponed due to rain.
