Softball team takes two games at ASA Miami

The Eastern Florida State College softball team picked up two wins Saturday afternoon against ASA Miami on the road.
With the wins, the Titans improved to 17-10 on the season.
In Game 1, the Titans scored in every inning of the 10-1 win in five innings as they had a 7-1 lead after three innings.
Madison Neuhaus, Victoria Perez and Jayden Ahl all hit home runs in the game. Neuhaus finished with two hits, driving in four and scoring a run while teammate Sarah Thomas went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and drove in two runs. Meritxell Blesa also had two hits and scored twice.
In the second game, the Titans scored in the top of the seventh inning to post a 3-2 win over ASA Miami.
Neuhaus hit a line drive to center field to score Molly Reid with the winning run with two outs in the top of the seventh.
It was the second run scored of the day for Molly Reid who had one of the Titans six hits in the game.
Katelyn Wilfert picked up the win, allowing one earned run and struck out four.
The Titans will play Hagerstown Community College at Dodgertown in Vero Beach Monday with the doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. They will be back at Titan Softball Complex Wednesday for a Southern Conference matchup with Broward College. The doubleheader will begin at 4 p.m.
