Softball team falls to Broward College

The Eastern Florida State College softball team gave up a lead in the seventh inning to fall 13-10 against Broward College in a Southern Conference Round Robin in Jensen Beach.

Broward would score three times in the top of the first inning, but the Titans struck back with five in the bottom of the first inning. Broward cut the lead to 5-4 in the third inning but in the fifth inning Victoria Perez hit a two-run double to make it 7-4.

Broward would hit three home runs in the top of the seventh inning as they would score eight times to take a 13-7 lead.

The Titans scored three times in the bottom of the seventh inning but could not get any closer, falling to 1-1 in the conference.

Madison Neuhaus went 3-for-3 with three runs scored, Perez drove in five runs in the game.
