Softball team goes 2-1 on Day 1 of JUCO Kickoff

After dropping the first game the Eastern Florida State College softball team rebounded with two wins in the evening at the JUCO Kickoff in Clearwater.
The Titans fell 2-1 to Pasco-Hernando State College in the season opener but bounced back with a 14-2 win against East Georgia State College as they would score five tiems in the first inning as Katelyn Wilfert hit a three-run home run and Victoria Perez added a home run in the first inning.
The Titans defeated St. Johns River 9-4 in the final game of the day on Friday as Katia Zavala and Sarah Goldsmith each had three hits in the game.
The Titans will play three times on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. against Pensacola State College. They will also play Georgia Highlands and wrap up the tournament against Hillsborough Community College at 5:40 p.m.
