Softball team finishes weekend a perfect 4-0

The Eastern Florida State College softball team wrapped up the round robin tournament a perfect 4-0 at Palm Beach State College. 

The Titans defeated Broward College 7-2 and then beat Palm Beach State College 10-6 in the final game of the tournament.

The Titans scored four times in the sixth inning behind Caitlin Meyer and Emily Bartlett who each had two RBI to pull away from Broward College.

In the second game, Madison Neuhaus drove in four runs and Katelyn Wilfert picked up the win in relief.

The Titans are in first place at 4-0 in the Southern Conference after the opening weekend and will be back at Titan Softball Complex Tuesday against St. Louis Community College. The doubleheader begins at 4 p.m. and admission is free.
