The Eastern Florida State College softball team showed it could win in different ways on Saturday afternoon.
The Titans won the first game 1-0 as Katelyn Wilfert tossed a three-hitter for her fifth win of the season. Freshman Emily Bartlett provided all of the offense, hitting a solo home run in the second inning. It was Bartlett's first home run of the season.
In Game 2 the Titans got the bats going with 14 hits in a 13-3 win in five innings. Sophomore Hailey Profeta hit a grand slam while Nikki Pennington went 3-for-3 and Caitlin Meyer went 2-for-3. Uriah Smith helped break the game open with a two-out, two-run hit.
McKinleigh Millard picked up her second win of the season.
The Titans have won six of their past eight games and will be back at Titan Softball Complex Tuesday for games against Lincoln Trail College and Sinclair Community College at 4 and 6 p.m. respectively.
