The Eastern Florida State College softball team split a doubleheader against No. 12-ranked Seminole State College Friday afternoon in Sanford.
The Titans lost the first game 4-1 but bounced back to record the 6-5 win in nine innings in the second game. Sophomore Olivia Everett had the game-winning RBI and also picked up the win in relief. Both Caitlin Meyer and Katelyn Wilfert each hit home runs and Everett pitched 1 2/3 innings of shutout softball to improve to 3-1 on the season.
Eastern Florida State College is now 3-3 on the season and will travel to Daytona State College on Tuesday evening. The first game will begin at 4 p.m.
