Caitlin Meyer named Region 8 Softball Player of the Week

Eastern Florida State College softball player Caitlin Meyer was named the NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week for the week ending March 25.

Meyer hit .750 with five runs scored, two doubles, two home runs and five RBI in four games during the voting period. For the season the freshman from Palm Bay is hitting .284 with three home runs and 18 RBI.

The Titans will host Palm Beach State College Wednesday evening beginning at 4 p.m. at Titan Softball Complex. Admission is free and the game will be shown live on WEFS-TV.
