The Eastern Florida State College softball team lost a pair of games to No. 10 Seminole State Sunday at Titan Softball Complex.

Eastern Florida State College took the lead early in the first game as leadoff hitter Hannah Crumblish walked and scored on a sacrifice fly by Nikki Pennington. Abigail Kendrick would make it 2-0 in the second inning, scoring Mary Waldron who was hit by a pitch.

That lead would hold up until the fifth inning when Seminole State scored three runs on three straight doubles and a single. Up 3-2, the Raiders would add two more in the seventh inning.

Gabby Orland and Pennington each had two hits in the game. Jordan Lawlis took the loss, striking out two and walking three.

Game 2 was all Seminole State early as they took a 7-0 lead before the Titans struck back in the bottom of the fourth inning. Savana Garrison led off with a single, then Caitlin Meyer singled bringing up Pennington who hit an RBI double. Monica Burroughs followed with an RBI single and Kendrick came up and drove in a third run on a fielder's choice.

Down 8-3 in the sixth inning, the Titans put together another rally with two outs. Hannah Crumblish drove in Alice Gannaway and Jilana Rodriguez on a single and then Lawlis drove in Brooke Diaz to cut the lead to 8-6 but the Titans could not get any closer.
