The Eastern Florida State College softball team rallied in the seventh inning to earn a split with St. Petersburg Saturday.
After losing the first game 4-3 in which Alice Gannaway hit a three-run home run the Titans came back to post a 5-2 win in Game 2.
Down 2-0 In the seventh inning, Hannah Crumblish tied the game with a two-run home run. Later in the inning Nikki Pennington hit a three-run home run to take the lead.
Starting pitcher Olivia Everett allowed one earned run on six hits to pick up the win, her second of the season.
The Titans will host No. 10 Seminole State College at 1 p.m. Sunday in the home opener at Titan Softball Complex.
