Titans Earn Softball Split
Eastern Florida's softball team earned a doubleheader split at Daytona State College on Tuesday.
The Titans dropped the opener 6-5 but captured the second game 3-1.
The Titans are 6-14. Daytona Beach is 17-6.
Taylor Zitiello went 3-for-4 with a triple in the first game while Savannah Alley was 2-for-4. Karli Smith hit a double.
Alexia Snyder took the loss in the first game but earned the win in the second.
Hannah Roberts went 2-for-3 and hit the game-winning double.
The Titans return to action at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at home on the Palm Bay Campus against St. Cloud Technical and Community College. Admission is free.
They then open FCSAA Southern Conference play on Sunday with a doubleheader at Miami Dade College in Kendall.
