Men's cross country team fares well at FSU Invite

The Eastern Florida State College men's cross country team finished 21st in the FSU Invite Friday at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee.

The Titans ran against some of the top four-year schools in the country Friday, wrapping up the regular season with a 21st place finish in the 30-team event.

Dayton Law was the top finisher for the men, placing 53rd overall with a time of 25:37.8 in the 8K race. Teammate Charlie Dickinson finished in 27:15.7 while Anthony Bergnes had his best run of the season, finishing with Dickinson in 27:15.8. Josh Ingalls also had his best time of the season, running the 8K in 27:26.2. Gabriel Garcia dropped almost a minute off his season-best with a 27:40.9.

The Master's University won the men's event with Florida State College placing second and Embry-Riddle was third.

Florida Gulf Coast University's Osman Humeida won the individual title with a time of 24:23.8.

The Titans will prepare for the NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Cross Country Championships which will be back at Apalachee Regional Park October 28 in Tallahassee.
