Men's tennis team back home Thursday against St. Lawrence

The Eastern Florida State College men's tennis team will be back at Titan Tennis Center Thursday after a busy month of matches.

The Titans are coming off a successful trip to Tyler, Texas with wins over No. 5 Colin College, No. 7 Pratt Community College and No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Eastern Florida State College is 6-2 on the season and has three players ranked in the top 10 in the national rankings.

Sophomore Hugo Car is ranked No. 1 in the rankings and went 5-0 in singles play against the top teams in the nation in the Tyler National Invite.

Teammate Jett Leong was ranked fifth coming into the spring season and went 3-1 in Texas while Jack Dixon also went 3-1 and is also among the top players in the country.

The men's team will be hosting St. Lawrence University Thursday at 11 a.m. Admission is free to tennis events at the tennis center.
