Men's tennis beats No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast in Texas

The Eastern Florida State College men's tennis team picked up its second straight win at the Tyler National Invite Monday afternoon in Tyler, Texas.

The third-ranked Titans defeated No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College 9-0 in a matchup of top teams on Monday.

Hugo Car and Jack Dixon won at the No. 1 doubles 8-4 while Nick DeVivo and Colin Tavares won at No. 2 doubles 8-2 and Jett Leong and Konstantin Kukaras won 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.

All six singles players won their matches in straight sets as Car won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Dixon won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2. Tomas Quesada Perez won at No. 3 singles 6-2, 6-0, Leong won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4, Tavares won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 and Kukaras won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6.
