Men's tennis team beats Fordham University
The Eastern Florida State College men's tennis team defeated Fordham University 4-2 in the final regular season match for the Titans.
The men's tennis team will compete in the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament May 17-21 at Collin College in Plano, Texas.
On Tuesday the team kicked things off by winning two doubles matches as the duo of Tomas Reche and Ramiro Rincon won 6-4 and Jaewoo Choi and Gonzalo Esteban Ostos picked up a 7-6 win.
The match came down to the No. 4 singles match as Choi clinched the third set 7-6 with a 7-5 tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets with Forham's Lutwin De Macar.
Reche also won at No. 1 singles 6-4 and 7-6.
