Men's tennis team falls to ASA Miami

The Eastern Florida State College men's tennis team lost a matchup of top five teams in the nation, falling to ASA Miami Sunday afternoon at Titan Tennis Center.

Sophomore Nils Michel picked up the lone win for the Titans, picking up the 6-3 and 7-5 at No. 2 singles. Michel teamed with Sebastian Rivera at No. 1 doubles for a battle with ASA Miami's Toru Horie and Eladio Fabregas. But in the end, Michel and Rivera fell 9-7.

Teammate Frederik Oervad lost his battle at No. 1 singles, falling 6-3, 7-5.

The Titans will be back at Titan Tennis Center on Friday against Keiser JV and then play Barry University on March 5.
