Oervad to play for seventh at ITA Cup tournament

Eastern Florida State College men's tennis player Frederik Oervad lost in the ITA Cup Friday morning in Rome, Georgia.

Oervad won the first set of the backdraw match 6-3 but lost the next two sets to ASA Miami's Josh Rose at the Rome Tennis Center. Oervad will play Seward County Community College's Hugo Lobo at 10:30 a.m. for seventh place.

Oervad and the Titans will compete at the Juan Varon Wildcat Invitational Oct. 26-28 in Daytona Beach.
