Men's soccer team rolls, remains unbeaten

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team remained unbeaten with a 6-0 victory at USC Lancaster Monday afternoon.

The Titans improved to 6-0 on the season with the victory.

Eastern Florida State College jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first half and cruised, posting its fourth shutout of the season.

Joao Loureiro scored a goal and had two assists and has now had a goal and two assists in each of the past two games. Loureiro now has five goals and eight assists.

Sophomore Rhys Shirley scored his fourth goal of the season and also had an assist in the contest.

Sophomore Adrian Adrian scored for the third straight game and also had two assists in the game. Adrian has now scored six goals and had four assists this season.

Ocira Lazarus scored in the first half, scoring his second goal of the season while Shermine Williams scored his first goal of the season with the Titans.

Stephen Gilbert scored his third goal of the season in the contest.

No. 1 ranked Eastern Florida State College will host No. 7 Daytona State College Saturday night in the conference opener at Orlando Health Stadium. The game will be broadcast on WEFS-TV.
